Founded in 2006, Captain Lawrence is Westchester’s and the Hudson Valley’s largest craft brewery. Boasting a 25,000 sq. ft. brewery facility, a 2,500 sq. ft. beer hall, and a 6,000 sq. ft.outdoor beer garden, there’s no shortage of places to enjoy a beverage here!

Beer styles range from hoppy and flavorful IPA’s to thirst quenching, barrel-aged sour ales. We distribute domestically up and down the east coast, as well as internationally to Europe, the U.K., Scandinavia and Japan.

Our Barrel House location in Mt. Kisco (opened in 2020) combines all of your favorite elements of hanging out at the brewery in Elmsford while in a sleek industrial setting.

Captain Lawrence has won countless accolades including more than ten GABF medals, Best of Westchester Magazine winner (2024 – Best Distillery, Best Brewery, and Best Trivia) and a NY Craft Beer Competition award in American DIPA’s for 2024.
