For over 15 years, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company has strived to give back to our community. From charitable donations to hosting fundraising events to volunteering our time to positively impact our community, we firmly believe the importance of doing good for others.
Captain Lawrence Brewing Company participates in the Real Men Wear Pink fundraising event. To show our support, each year we donate a portion of proceeds from our Think Pink Beer to the American Cancer Society.

Each year, we open up opportunities for our team to volunteer their time and energy to give back. Whether it is a group outing where we are packing bags for a mobile food pantry or planting trees in our county parks, we continue to encourage our staff to get out there and be their best! Each month we focus on a specific organization or cause to center our efforts.
We have worked closely with our neighbors at Feeding Westchester in the past and recently assembled over 400 “Produce Packs” for children and their families in the communities of Yonkers and Ossining.
Each year, we look forward to the Golden Scoop, a friendly competition of volunteer groups that results in food being distributed to Feeding Westchester’s 300 agency partner programs throughout the county to help feed over 200,000 residents in need!
Captain Lawrence Brewing Company has made a commitment to sustainability since day one. For over 15 years we have recycled all spent grain by donating to Farmer John at Hemlock Hill Farms, providing a nutritious feed for their animals and eliminating further strain on the fragile balance of agriculture.
In addition, we harvest a significant amount of our own energy through solar panels, employ a rigorous recycling program, and put an emphasis on working with other local businesses who prioritize sustainability.
