QUESTIONS
As the Beer Garden at Captain Lawrence has grown in the last few years we have come to realize that a clarification on our rules regarding children is in order. We want to be very clear that we love the community that we have cultivated here at CL and are proud of it! Many of us are parents ourselves and we believe in sharing a healthy Beer Garden experience with our kids and modeling appropriate behavior in an environment where alcohol is a primary aspect of the experience.
We also believe that when visiting Captain Lawrence the relaxed atmosphere has created an environment that has allowed the behavior exhibited by some parents and children to negatively affect the experience of our other guests.
Beginning with the 2024 outdoor season, the following rules and reminders for those choosing to bring children to Captain Lawrence have been put in effect. We do not want to have these awkward conversations with you but we will.

Rules & Regulations
• Children of all ages must be supervised at all times – No exceptions!
– If we have to remind a parent more than once, you will be asked to leave
• No guest under 21 may roam freely throughout CL – indoors or outdoors
• As of May 2024, the Beer Garden will be split to include an area that is 21+ only. Please respect these boundaries.
• No climbing or standing on top of tables, barrels, cornhole boards, etc.
• No throwing rocks/gravel
• No Ball Playing
• No Running
• No sitting on floors/gravel in walkways
All of our rules have the same goal in mind: be considerate to those around you as well as the CL Crew.
Captain Lawrence remains a family friendly environment — it’s part of who we are as people and as a business. We are simply asking for a little more from the parents of our smallest guests to ensure that the experience we are offering is in line with each of our guests’ expectations.

We have two locations:
Elmsford: 444 Saw Mill River Rd. Elmsford, NY 10523
Mt. Kisco: 369 Lexington Ave. Mt Kisco, NY 10549
Are dogs allowed at the brewery?
Licensed service animals are always permitted but pets need to stay at home.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not required at our Elmsford location, but are welcomed via Resy.
For groups larger than 12 please see our Big Group Reservation Form.
Reservations are required at our Mount Kisco location for 12 people+ via the General Inquiry Page and choosing the “Reservation for Mt. Kisco (12+)” option.
